This is a one day course to provide participants with a greater understanding of how the criminal justice system operates and the implications that this has for the homelessness sector.

- understand that offending behaviour is a specific need
- have a good overview of the criminal justice system and criminal justice process
- have a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of key agencies and partnerships working with people who have offended
- have considered ‘desistance’ and what you can do to support people to move away from patterns of offending
- understand how the homelessness and criminal justice sectors can work together more effectively
- feel more confident and able to provide services that are trauma-informed, person-centred and safe for all
Duration
Face to face: One-day course
Online: Three 1.5 hour modules delivered in one day
We can be flexible on the above delivery model if needed, but an additional cost may be incurred.

This course can be booked for a team of up to 16 for face to face training or up to 20 for online training:
Members face to face: £940 plus Trainer expenses
Members online: £940 - no Trainer expenses
Non-members face to face: £1,335 plus Trainer expenses
