A disproportionate number of people who are not UK citizens become homeless. For some their right to be in the UK does not allow them any recourse to public funds. Homeless Link is working to ensure that people in this position do not face homelessness and get the help they need.Read More

'Everyone In' showed how effective universal, unconditional support is in tackling homelessness, uniting organisations and driving innovation. But the temporary housing solutions offered to many were, by definition, temporary. In October 2021 the government had the opportunity to build on this success by providing adequate, long term funding for the sector - as part of the government's Comprehensive Spending Review.
