In recent years the sector has seen an introduction of a number of innovative approaches to supporting people who are experiencing homelessness; Psychologically Informed Environments, Trauma Informed Care, Housing First and strengths-based working to name a few. These are all different types of relationship-based approaches (we previously described them as positive approaches).

This guidance has been written to support voluntary sector organisations working with people experiencing homelessness on issues relating to sharing of client data in multi-agency meetings.

In the context of the cost of living crisis and severe threats to homelessness services, Homeless Link's submission to the budget calls for increases in funding so that we can all continue to deliver vital support.
