This training will equip you with the skills to conduct assessments and develop support plans effectively.

It is suitable for managers and frontline staff in the homelessness and supported housing sector, who want to develop their skills.

Through this course, your team will:

  • Learn to initiate, develop, and conclude a successful strengths-based assessment
  • Identify and handle typical assessment challenges effectively
  • Practice essential communication skills relevant to assessments
  • Understand equality and diversity concerns in assessment and develop mitigation strategies
  • Formulate and agree upon SMART support plans for timely outcomes
  • Establish a core strategy for involving partners in assessment and support planning
  • Develop a personal action plan for post-course implementation

How will it be delivered?

This one-day course can be booked for a team of up to 16 for in-person training or up to 20 for online training.
