Develop your understanding and promote good practice around equality, diversity and inclusion in your service. The course will cover how discrimination works, its effects, and practical strategies for creating inclusive environments in homelessness services.

Who is this course for?

For managers and frontline staff in the homelessness and supported housing sector.

What will your team learn?

Through this course, your team will:

  • Explore how discrimination operates and understand its effects
  • Recognise how working positively with diversity can play an important role in improving effectiveness within the voluntary/supported housing sector
  • Recognise and discuss the principles of working with diversity
  • Develop strategies for anti-discriminatory practice 

How will it be delivered?

This one-day course can be booked for a team of up to 16 for in-person training or up to 20 for online training.

If you need something different, we can tailor the course delivery to suit you, with some potential adjustments in cost.

How much will it cost?

Non-members: £1,400

Members: £990

Please note, if you're opting for in-person training, the expenses of the trainer (e.g. travel to your location) will be added to your invoice.
