Organisations that support vulnerable people must ensure that the rights and interests of individuals are respected and that the work undertaken by staff fully reflects this. Mistakes can have serious consequences. This course will explain how you should manage professional boundaries in your daily work.

Who is this course for?

For frontline staff and managers in the homelessness and supported housing sector.

What will your team learn?

Through this course, your team will:

  • Understand why maintaining boundaries is crucial in their roles, realising how it contributes to effective and ethical interactions
  • Learn to recognise positive behaviors that respect personal boundaries, promoting healthy relationships with both clients and colleagues
  • Explore negative behaviors that challenge boundaries, enabling them to address such situations proactively
  • Develop the ability to spot signs indicating potential boundary issues early on, allowing for timely intervention.
  • Gain confidence in expressing concerns about boundary breaches and know where to find support and guidance when needed.
