Stress, vicarious trauma and managing wellbeing

You've come from the skills framework. Here are some learning and development recommendations to support you to manage your wellbeing and spot signs of stress and vicarious trauma in yourself and others.

The understanding of the impact of stress and trauma on individuals. An ability to use strategies to maintain personal well-being and foster a healthy and supportive environment for both staff and individuals using the service.

Team Training

Our team training is delivered live online or in-person by an expert Trainer. You'll be given the opportunity understand how you can manage your wellbeing, spot signs of vicarious trauma and manage stress.

Our free resources include series two of our podcast series 'Going beyond' which discusses the effects of working in the homelessness sector on individual wellbeing, as well as guidance on staff wellbeing, including the effects of burnout, vicarious trauma and moral injury.
